We’ve been around since 1994 and have produced a bunch of rods and customs, as well as restoring numerous British, German, and Italian sportscars_ from AC Aces to Jaguars, Lotuses, Ferraris, and Porsches.
Alley Cat Customs has always been involved with custom cars. Some of our cars have won major national awards, including the Alexander Brothers “Hall of Fame” Award of Excellence in 2000 at the Leadsled Spectacular in Wichita, Kansas and a Top Ten at the Lead East show in Parsippany, New Jersey. Our creations have won hundreds of local show awards and many KKOA Fine Nine Awards and GoodGuys shows awards, such as “Best Shoebox Ford” at Perry, Georgia. They’ve been seen or featured in major magazines, such as Rod & Custom, Custom Rodder, Rodder’s Digest, The Trendsetter, American Rodder, Southern Rodder, and others.
The owner, Gerald Davis, has been a Kustom Kemps of America Colonel since 1990 and has worked major shows as a photographer. He was also the Event Director for the KKOA Flamingo Fling shows in Pensacola, Florida in 1998 and 1999. He’s an ex- SCCA road racer, where he ran a Bugeye Sprite in H Production and a LeGrand-Saab in D Sports Racing. Gerald was also the cofounder of both the Schattenbaum Region and the Sonnenschein Region of the Porsche Club of America where he also served as President of each.
Take the time to read “About Us” and peruse “Our Cars” to check out our work. We’re in this business because we love classic cars, customs, and street rods. For us, building your dream would be a labor of love.
